Your website is live and you’re ready to do lots of business…but how do you make sure that happens?
Wouldn’t it be grand if you could just launch a website that automatically popped up on the screen of the people your business is made for?! How wonderful that would be, not just for your business but for the customers who need/want what you’re offering.
And now to reality…
When I started UpSwing, one of the things that I promised was I wouldn’t build a website for anyone who wasn’t prepared to spend time (and in some cases money) marketing their business, online and in person – every single day. I am adamant about this because I know that daily marketing is the one thing that will:
- Get the people who need or want what you’re offering to know you exist.
- Get the people who need or want what you’re offering to contact you.
- Get the people who need or want what you’re offering to buy from you.
- Get the people who have bought from you to tell other ‘like minded’ people to buy from you.
- Get the people who have bought from you to buy from you again.
Daily marketing isn’t just posting ‘great content’ to your social profiles, it includes every interaction you have with your customer from the moment they find you. It’s every interaction every one of your staff has with your customers from the moment they engage with them. It’s about everyone in your business being (behaving) on brand all day, everyday…with, sorry about this…’authenticity’. It just has to feel natural.
Of course, to do that you need to be absolutely clear about what being ‘on brand’ is for your business…what is its story, its missions, vision, meaning and values? What is its persona, its language, voice tone, and standards? And what is its offering, who is it for and why will they choose you? When you know your business and your customer like the back of your hand you will automatically become a natural daily marketer which is the one thing that will upswing your business.
